Triumph Spitfire MkIV 1971 - The rebuild
 Nearside suspension removed. I had to hacksaw through the bolt holding the shock absorber on as it had totally seized! I'm glad I've ordered new bolts |
 Nearside suspension removed |
 New rear shocks on new chassis |
 Anti roll bar and Superflex bushes put on chassis |
 Old rear spring and old shocks removed from differential and chassis respectively |
 Offside drive shaft and hub removed |
 nearside drive shaft and hub removed |
 Differential removed |
 Upper wishbone fitted |
 Lower wishbone fitted |
 Spring and coil shock fitted |
 Both sides done |
 Wheels resprayed |
 Steering rack removed |
 Differential back in with Supeflex bushes |
 Differential back in |
 Nearside driveshaft and hub fitted - the welding gloves are there to stop the driveshafts damaging the paint on the chassis |
 Both drive shafts and hubs fitted |
 Rear spring fitted |
 Front suspension and anti-roll bar assembled |
