Handle bars are on, and the subframe is started	Forks are bent, so when the rear end is finished, Shane'll whip the forks out and see if his mate Jeff can straighten them in his press (depending if they are creased or not)

The only way to measure the damage was by clamping the bottom of the fork in the workmate, and clamping a steel bar up to the top of the fork, turning the top of the fork showed how far out it is.
